UNIT 1 Reflection

In this unit I observed some of the different types of education and their differences. All these options have the goal of educating , whether in a classroom as it is traditional education, or open education and distance education which you can take from the comfort of your home.

UNIT 1 What to include in the portfolio.

Dr. Barret says that the portafolio shows the student’s efforts, progress and achivement in ones or more areas. The portafolio must include documentation, collaboration and refletions that is the most important part of the portafolio.

UNIT 1 Differences Between Tradicional Education And Distance Education

In the traditional education and in distance education are guided by trained teachers in their area.Sometimes there are some very interesting courses that we want to take, but these courses are in other universities that may be found in other states and we may not have money or enough time to take these clases.The tradicional education is taken in a class room with a certain amont of students and there is a social interaction

UNIT 1 Differences Between Distance and Open Education

Both options have been created to facilitate the learning,in both is needed students with great discipline,because it depends on each student their development in the course they are taking.In open education continuous monitoring is needed, the student has a tutor which is located in a specific place. The student will reach to the the tutor to clarifie doubts and tutor will provide supporting material.In distance education there is an exchange of point of views and comments from students and tutors. The material is provided via the Internet(e-mail, platforms, etc)

UNIT 1 Your opinion about “distance education”.

Distance Education is a good alternative for people who do not have enough time to attend to school, for example, married people or that have a heavy load of work and want to continue with their studies.Because is a distance class discipline is needed, every assignment has to be turn in on time
